Community support is the lifeblood of a vibrant arts scene
It's our mission to present a broad spectrum of the world's finest performing artists in order to meet the diverse cultural needs of all of Southwest Florida's residents and visitors. We bring visiting artists into the community for meaningful education and outreach programs that help develop new audiences. We provide a quality home for other local cultural organizations that present their programs here. This is achieved through Corporate Partnerships, Grants, and relationships with local arts organizations who share our mission.

Grants, Gifts, & Partnerships
The Van Wezel graciously recognizes the many supporters of our Education, Capital Improvement, and Main Stage Programming. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact on those who live and visit the Gulf Coast region.
The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is supported in part by Sarasota County Tourist Development Tax revenues and the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs.
Van Wezel Education Programs receive additional generous support from Publix Supermarkets Charities, the Woman's Exchange, the Cordelia Lee Beattie Foundation, the Van Wezel Foundation, and many other public and private partners.

Donate Your Spare Tickets
Patrons unable to use tickets to a Van Wezel-sponsored performance can donate them back to the Box Office at least 48 hours prior to the performance date. Proceeds support the Van Wezel's Education and Outreach programs, which last year served over 36,000 students, teachers, and community members in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
