Roskamp Auditorium

Roskamp Auditorium   The beautiful, 1736 seat, Roskamp Auditorium was renovated in 2001 thanks to a generous $1,000,000 contribution from Sarasota residents Bob and Diane Roskamp. The original continental seat theatre was designed by commissioned chief architect, William Wesley Peters. Legend performers such as Tony Bennet have been known to express their regard of the acoustical dynamics by stopping the orchestra to present an acappella solo to the audience in appreciation.
